Southeast College Announces Changes in Assiniboia
March 18, 2025Weyburn, SK – Southeast College is announcing strategic changes to its operations at the Assiniboia Campus to better utilize resources and enhance educational offerings.
Southeast College Interim President and CEO, Jody Holzmiller met with Her Worship Mayor Schauenberg and Council member Graham Harvey to discuss the path forward for the Town of Assiniboia and Southeast College. Both parties agreed to renew their commitment to exploring viable course and program options within the Assiniboia region. The town and the college both left the meeting feeling positive that through partnerships, open communication and collegial collaboration relevant programming will be identified to satisfy both student and labour market demand in Assiniboia and the surrounding area. Additionally, the Strategic Development team at the College will examine opportunities to continue expanding continuing education opportunities, including industry and safety training for the area.
