Program Overview

Do you want to prepare yourself for a career in welding?

This 20-week enhanced program is based on Level 1 Apprenticeship Training. As a graduate and after you become an apprentice, you can apply to the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Commission for credit for Level 1 Welding training.

Your Career

Graduates may find employment in refineries, construction, pulp and paper mills, manufacturing or processing plants, mines or repair shops.

Trade time and academic credit may be available for graduates who find employment in the trade and register as apprentices. Please contact the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission for further information.
