Saskatchewan Hunter Safety
This program is geared towards individuals aged 12 and older who are interested in starting to hunt in the future.
In this course, participants will learn how to:
- Properly and safely load and unload a firearm
- Properly hold a firearm so you don’t get hurt
- Firearms rules and regulation
- Basic first aid
- How to survive if you get lost
- Knowledge of the animals you will be hunting
- How to prepare game animals so they don’t spoil
Session Dates & Times:
Thursday, Apr. 25 – 6 – 9pm
Friday, Apr. 26 – 6 – 9pm
Saturday, Apr. 27- 9 – 5pm
Sunday, Apr. 28 – Final Exam – 1 – 5pm
Participants must be 12 years of age or older to attend.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and pass the final exam before receiving their Saskatchewan Hunter Certificate.
